The social network is getting a new video feature.
A few days ago, an engineer from the social network X announced the arrival of audio and video calls for all users. The functionality was until now reserved for paying users of the platform, but this is no longer the case.
Following on from this announcement, today we have just learned of the arrival of a new feature in X, which also concerns video. Members of the social network can now broadcast a live stream during a “ Spaces ”.
As a reminder, Spaces are a feature that X offers , which allows several people to come together in a virtual room to discuss. The difference with a WhatsApp group call is that this is a public exchange, which can be joined by any user.
